MODEL UNITED NATIONS TICINO

The association's activities promote knowledge of international relations among young people through a practical approach: to fully understand the importance of promoting the United Nations's values, it is necessary to experience what it means to be an ambassador and what it means working to define a consensus around a solution to the problems of our world.

The Association also offers young people the opportunity to personally participate in the organization of events. Through peer training, by young people with more experience, it is possible to collaborate in our social media editorial staff, in our campaigns and in the MUN organizational team and contribute to defining the next projects.

The Association organize MUN activities: simulation in which students represent the viewpoint of their allocated state in a given body of the United Nations. Through debates and decision-making all delegates have the power to change the future and begin their route to become leaders of tomorrow.

The Association also organizes workshops and conferences to deepen knowledge of the world of international diplomacy and the mechanisms that regulate it. Each appointment is therefore an important moment of formation for young people who want to look at today's world with a critical and constructive spirit.
